Service Description

This class will focus on architecture and engineering feats from around the world. It's designed to be a long form, multi age class to finish out our Spring Enrichment schedule at SEER Class Description: Pack your bags and get ready for a global adventure! In this fun and interactive class, kids will explore amazing buildings, bridges, and structures from all around the world. From the Great Wall of China to the skyscrapers of Dubai, we’ll learn how architects and engineers use creativity, science, and math to build the world around us. Each week, we’ll “travel” to a new country, discover famous landmarks, and dive into how they were built—then get hands-on with cool design challenges, mini-building projects, and fun facts. Whether it's pyramids or space-age towers, students will get inspired by how people have built big, bold, and brilliant things throughout history. No experience needed—just curiosity, imagination, and a love for building things! WE are going to ask all the curious questions! Why are we creating this? How can we try making it a different way? How can we make our projects even better? At SEER we incorporate hands on learning with sensory activities, and more! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn, build and create together. Pre-Requisites: Children must be 4 by April 1, 2026 to participate. No writing or reading ability is needed. Fees: This class will meet for four two-hour sessions. A snack is included. Each lesson will build upon itself. Class fees are $100 per student with a 25% sibling discount available. The $35 deposit for this class is due when you sign up. The remaining balance is due on April 10. If you need a different payment schedule please reach out to us at jessie@shoalseer.org. Maximum class size is 14 students. This is a drop off class. We are a small business and we have maximized our class space which means we only have a small space for parents to wait, but you are welcome to utilize it if you prefer! *All class fees are non refundable once the class has started.
