Messy Makers Camp

Service Description

Each day we will explore a science concept through messy art and science projects! Tuesday, June 11 through Friday June 14 from 10am-12pm for children 5yrs old to 12yrs old. Each day we will have a different theme from Slime or polymer science to making lava lamps and learning about density! On June 11 we will make slime, learn about how slime comes together to make a fun substance to play with and experiment with different homemade and store bought slimes! On June 12 we will create a lava lamp two ways, explore the science behind a lava lamp and observe different times of lava lamps and color timers and liquid boilers. On June 13 we will make potions and brews while learning about how liquid react to each other, acid, salt and base reactions, and a final demonstration of elephant toothpaste! On June 14 we will make different sorts of playdoughs and test out store bought substances as well to learn about the subtle differences and how they might be made! To register for our Messy Makers Camp please fill out the form below. Spaces are limited. We have hands on, sometimes messy activities planned for each day so come dressed to play! You can register for one day or all four days of camp. Each individual day is $45 but you register for all four days you can get the special camp rate of $140 per child. If your child loves messy art and science check out our Saturday Messy Maker Class! Children will need to be fully potty trained for camp! Camp fees are non-refundable, or transferable. Deposits are not refundable. You will receive an invoice via email for the full balance which is due a week before camp starts. Our philosophy is that children learn best through hands on, play based experiences and we want to nurture a spirit of play within each child! **There will be a release form to sign before the first day of camp! You can sign it in person or print and sign the copy that will be emailed to you**
