Science Club - Science Camp 8-12yr olds

Service Description

Each day we will explore a science concept through messy experiments and science projects! Monday, July 8 through Friday July 12 for kids 8-11yrs old from 9am -11am! Day 1 - Acid and base reactions, learning about pH and doing a series of experiments to demonstrate what we are learning. Day 2 - Circuits, drawing circuits, and making our own magic wands Day 3 - States of matter and creating colloids Day 4 - Creating crystals and exploring fluorescence You will receive an email with more info about what we are going to be doing during camp later this spring. Invoices for the remainder will be sent out soon! Day 5 - For our last day we are going to be detectives, learn to identify different fingerprints and about how this is used in the world and have a science celebration! To register for our Science Club - Science Camp please fill out the form below. Spaces are limited. We have hands on, sometimes messy activities planned for each day so come dressed to play! Youmust register for all five days of camp. The fee for this special science camp is $140. Please message us at shoalseer@gmail.com with any questions! If you have more than one child who will be at camp there is a 15% sibling discount. Please see our other session for children 4-7yrs old. Camp fees are non-refundable, or transferable. Deposits are not refundable. You will receive an invoice via email for the full balance which is due July 1! If your fees are not paid by July 1 you will forfeit your deposit. Our philosophy is that children learn best through hands on, play based experiences and we want to nurture a spirit of play within each child! **There will be a release form to sign before the first day of camp! You can sign it in person or print and sign the copy that will be emailed to you**
