Circle of Life Cycles: Dandelion

This fun class is designed for children ages 3 and up and features science, art, and hands-on activities as we explore the life cycle of the dandelion plant—a plant found all across North America! Join us for an exciting, hands-on class all about dandelions and the many ways this amazing plant can be used from root to flower. Children will explore the life cycle of these familiar flowers that appear all over North Alabama each spring, create a life cycle craft, and discover the science behind seed dispersal through demonstrations and simple experiments. To register for our May Extended Life Cycle class please fill out the form below. Parents are welcome to stay and wait in our waiting room or drop off. Spaces are limited. The cost is $35. All materials are included. Contact us for more information or with any questions! Drop off starts at 8:45am and pick up is from 11:45am-12:00pm. Life Cycle classes will be offered once a month and the class fees are non refundable and non transferable. Our philosophy is that children learn best through hands on, play based experiences and we want to nurture a spirit of play within each child!
