Service Description
🌸 Pokécology Club 1:00-2:00 PM What can Pokemon teach us about the amazing world of plants, animals, and ecosystems? Join us for a hands-on science adventure as we explore the ecology behind one of Pokémon’s most fascinating plant-inspired creatures! Using Pokemon as our guide, we’ll investigate flowers, pollination, plant adaptations, seed dispersal, and the important relationships between plants and animals. We’ll also explore how creatures fit into food webs and why healthy ecosystems need lots of different living things working together. Some of our club time will also be spent learning to play the Pokemon card game. Through hands-on experiments, creative projects, observations, and Pokémon-inspired activities, young scientists will discover that the world of plants is anything but boring! This club is $150 per semester or $25 per individual class. Contact us to sign up for a single day! Time: 1:00-2:00pm Each child will need a water bottle. They can bring their own pokemon cards. At SEER we believe in nurturing the spirit of play within each child. Please come to class ready to get a little messy and learn through play. All camp, class and club fees are non-refundable.
