Young Naturalist Club - 1pm for 2026-27

Service Description

The Young Naturalist Club at SEER invites curious students to explore the wonders of ecosystems and habitats during the 2026–27 school year. Through a blend of hands-on lab investigations and outdoor field experiences, students will discover how living things are connected within the food web. Each month, participants will dive into close-up, microscopic perspectives before expanding their understanding to the broader, macroscopic world of real ecosystems. Students will keep nature journals, engage in interactive projects, and work toward meaningful semester-long creations that reflect their learning. Field days are a special opportunity for the whole family to join in the experience, while lab days are reserved for students enrolled in the class. The 10:00 AM session is designed for children ages 3–12, and the 1:00 PM session is for students ages 6–15. This full-year commitment is perfect for young explorers eager to observe, question, and connect with the natural world in a deeper way. 🧪 Twice the Nature Fun Every Month: Nature Study & Nature Lab @ SEER – Dive into hands-on learning and experiments in our indoor lab. (Parents may drop off kids for this session.) Field Adventures – Join us at local parks or wild spots for outdoor exploration and discovery. (Parents must stay and share the experience! Siblings are welcome) Fees: A $30 deposit is due at sign up and is not refundable. It will serve as a supply fee. You will receive an invoice via email for remaining semester's fee in July. Fall semester fees are due August 1. Spring semester fees are due January 1. The fee for each semester is $115 and includes access to field guides which we will use during our adventures and a sturdy journal to record your child's nature journal finds as well as the Food web and habitat project we will be working on all semester. The total fee for a year of young naturalist club is $230. To sign up just fill out the booking form and pay your club fees for the semester. There is a 15% sibling discount. Members also get 10% off. **Please note that this is for the full year from August 2026 to May 2027. The fee is split into two payments** **There will be a release form to sign! You can sign it in person or print and sign the copy that will be emailed to you**
