About this unit
This early elementary mini unit study will help your children to learn about Farmers and how they contribute to our communities! You and your child(ren) or students will learn about how farmers can impact our lives and all ways in which our food supply is tied to someone who tends and cares for it!
 
I have suggested several books for your studies and there are many more resources out on the internet. You can also find many educational videos and resources out there for free.
 
Along with the worksheets provided there is a simple craft and some scavenger hunt sheets to help you learn about farmers, farmers markets and what things in our groceries stores come from farms.
 
It will take about a day to complete this unit – but it can easily be stretched into 2 or 3 days of you would like to keep your learning going.
