Have you enjoyed our Nature Academy curriculum? Do you have a curious kid who loves exploring all the treasures of the great outdoors? Join us for a Spring Young Naturalist Club 🌿 Young Naturalist Club 🌿 Explore. Discover. Grow. Calling all curious kids and their families! The Young Naturalist Club is a new, fun, and educational hybrid experience that brings the wonders of nature to life—both indoors and out. 🧪 Twice the Nature Fun Every Month: Nature Study & Nature Lab @ SEER – Dive into hands-on learning and experiments in our indoor lab. (Parents may drop off kids for this session.) Field Adventures – Join us at local parks or wild spots for outdoor exploration and discovery. (Parents must stay and share the experience! Siblings are welcome) 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 For Kids & Their Families Perfect for nature lovers, young scientists, and budding explorers! This club is ideally intended for children 4-12yrs old. Dates for the fall: January 23 - at SEER On January 23 we are going to create new Nature Journals, learn about birds out in the wild and the naturalist John Audubon, complete a bird themed activity and explore the SEER Nature table. We always finish our sessions at SEER with a tea time. February 6 -at SEER On February 6 we are going to complete an insect lab, add to our nature journal, learn about some common insects in our area of Alabama, learn about the Naturalist Anna Comstock, insect specimens at the SEER Nature Table and have a insect tea time. February 20 - in the field March 13 - at SEER On March 13 we are going to complete a lab about mammals, add to our nature journal, learn about some common mammals in our area of Alabama, learn about the Naturalist Jane Goodall, investigate specimens at the SEER Nature Table and have a mammal tea time. March 27 - in the field April 10 - at SEER April 24 - in the field May 8 - at SEER May 15 - Science Young Naturalist Club will meet from 10-11:30am. Fees: A $30 deposit is due at sign up and is not refundable. It will serve as a supply fee. You will receive an invoice via email for remaining semester's fee in July. The total fee for the semester is $115 and includes two field guides which we will use during our adventures and a sturdy journal to record your child's nature journal finds. To sign up just fill out the booking form and pay your club fees for the semester. **There will be a release form to sign! You can sign it in person or print and sign the copy that will be emailed to you**
